The official STAR Rating Scheme in Australia is managed under licence from Australian Motoring Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian Auto Clubs: the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RACT and RAC.
A new STAR Rating Scheme was approved by the Auto Clubs and launched in July 2011, focusing on consumer choice drivers such as cleanliness, quality, condition and the range of facilities and services offered to the guest.
