Using a STAR Rating as a marketing tool
Only STAR Rated Members are licensed to use STAR Ratings. AAA Tourism vigorously polices misuse of STAR Ratings by properties that are not STAR Rated Members, or properties using an incorrect STAR Rating. The STAR Ratings are Registered Certification Trade Marks of AAA Tourism. The STAR Rating Trade Marks Guidelines provide important information about the correct use of STAR Ratings.
Trade Marks Guidelines
As a STAR Rated Member, you are licensed to use your property's official STAR Rating in your advertising and promotions, as long as you:
- Comply with the terms of the STAR Rating Membership Agreement
- Display the STARS as five point STARS in 100% black
- Display the Category name underneath the STAR Rating reflecting the Category under which the property is Rated
